At 3/8" thick, our Serenity Carpet Underlay™ is the best choice to handle most aggressive sound issues. It provides premium results as under carpet flooring. Specifically designed for soundproofing under carpet, it eliminates the need for a carpet pad in most cases. Excellent for replacing old carpet pads or adding to a new floor that requires carpet. It will reduce both footstep and annoying ambient noise. Perfect for almost anywhere carpet is needed.
When installing this product be sure to tape any seams with acoustical foil tape. Please note: It is important to tape any seams and NOT overlap them. |

Serenity Carpet Underlay™
Underlay products consist of a foam layer supporting an acoustic vinyl barrier. The foam layer acts to decouple the mass layer from the floor vibrations, creating an effective barrier against noise radiating from the floor due to structure-borne or airborne sources of noise.
