PAC International RSIC-DC04

The PAC International RSIC-DC04 is a compact resilient mount that separates drywall from adjoining framing at the fastener point. Its right-angle body isolates screws from structure using a rubber core, breaking rigid bridges that undermine acoustic assemblies — especially at soffits, corners, and transitions. Installs direct — no hat or furring channel required.

  • Precision Decoupling: Isolates screws from framing using a resilient rubber body — preventing direct contact and reducing vibration paths that undermine acoustic assemblies.
  • Direct-Mount, No Channel Required: Drywall fastens straight through the RSIC-DC04's isolator with #8, #10, or #12 screws — a low-profile alternative to clip-and-channel builds at trim, corners, and tight retrofits.
  • Dampens Acoustic Weak Points: Purpose-built for the transitions and connection points where rigid contact typically re-couples otherwise resilient assemblies.
  • Compact, Retrofit-Friendly: Low-profile mount fits behind trim, at corners, and in tight service penetrations without adding build-up.

FAQ

RSIC-DC04 — Common Questions

Maintain a 1/4" perimeter gap between drywall and adjoining surfaces (floor, ceiling, intersecting walls), then seal with acoustic sealant on both faces. Never let drywall, trim, or fasteners contact the framing directly — that shorts out the resilient path.
