Resilmount A130R
The Resilmount A130R is a heavy duty sound isolation bracket that mounts to the structural wall framing and receives a 6" metal track. That track becomes localized, acoustically isolated backing for heavy attachments — cabinets, TV mounts, grab bars, handrails, shelving, lockers and wall-mounted equipment. It works alongside the A237R + 7/8" furring channel wall that carries the drywall: because the A130R plus 6" track matches the projection of an A237R and standard 7/8" furring channel combination, the backing lands in the same finish plane, so heavy items can be supported without screwing straight through the finished surface back into the studs and bypassing the resilient isolation strategy.
- What It Does: Creates isolated structural backing: the bracket fastens to the framing and its resilient rubbers carry a 6" metal track that the heavy item attaches to.
- When To Use It: Only where substantial wall-mounted items need support — cabinets, TV mounts, grab bars, handrails, shelving, lockers, equipment. It is not laid out across an ordinary sound-isolated wall.
- How It Integrates: A130R + 6" metal track matches the projection of the A237R + 7/8" furring channel system, so the backing sits in the same finish plane as the surrounding wall.
- Published Capacity & Install: 110 lb acoustical design load per bracket. All 3 resilient mounting points screw into the stud or framing, and the metal track is screwed to each bracket a minimum of 4 times.

A130R Preliminary Bracket Estimate
A130R quantities are not estimated from wall square footage. Count the stud locations that your run of 6" metal backing track actually crosses, then multiply by the number of backing rows.
An 8-foot run of 6" track crossing studs at 16" o.c. may intersect about 7 stud positions depending on where the run starts and stops — roughly 7 brackets for one row, about 14 for two rows.
A TV-mount backing area crossing 3 studs generally starts at 3 bracket locations per backing row — most TV mounts use two rows, so about 6 brackets.
